Wir sind Weltmeister im Erinnern, aber entscheidend sind die Taten und die offenen Fragen. Auch im Jahr 1989 war nicht alles gleich „wiedervereinigt“. An der Schule folgten nun eine Nachbereitung und weitere Erlebnisse. Am 23. 11. hat eine Schülergruppe die Rückseite der Mauer vor der Botschaft bemalt. Zwei Tage später trafen sich Schüler der deutschen Schule mit niederländischen Schülern aus Den Haag vor der Mauer, um sie mit neuen Farbschichten „in Besitz zu nehmen“ und um die anschließend mit gemeinsamen Kräften einzureißen. Die Mauerfragmente wurden teilweise an die Deutsche Schule gebracht. Viele Klassen konnten sich im Keller der Schule oder in der Eingangshalle im Rahmen der Weihnachtswerkstatt als „Mauerspechte“ versuchen. Auch niederländische und britische Schüler hatten Anteil daran. Natürlich ist die Schülerschaft in sich international und der Mauerfall konnte sich so als <b style="">gemeinschaftliche Erfahrung in der Erinnerung festsetzen</b>.
